Hello!

It is nice to meet you. My name is Jordan Schatz. I am a software engineer and entrepreneur. How can I help you?

I’ve worked for small companies, big companies, non-profits, start ups, fortune 500s, and governments. I’ve had multiple stints as CTO, I enjoy leading teams, and building things solo. I have been writing software professionally since 2008. I have experience in a long list of technology stacks but today prefer to focus on Rust, C, and Lisp.

Why work with me?

• Experience is useful, and I have quite a bit of it. Both from the amount of time I’ve spent doing software engineering but also from varied projects I’ve had the opportunity to participate on or lead. (A chronically out of date resume is here)

• Communication. I am comfortable talking with company executives, your most experienced engineering talent, and customers. There are no dumb technical questions, and I want all stakeholders to understand.

• Ability to deliver a project on time and for a fixed fee.
