One Week Sprints

2019-07-22

Agile and Scrum projects are broken into sprints. By definition a sprint is "a time-boxed increment of work in which a complete piece of functionality is delivered". That time-box should be a week.

Deliver your work by Friday.

Do you feel the urgency? The accountability?

If you are thinking "we can't", "there is just no way", "my boss/client/department head wouldn't let me" then I challenge you to be creative and find a way. If you are short on ideas, email me I'd be happy to help you find a way.

Here's to every project that didn't — where momentum has dropped, merge conflicts have grown, and Schrödinger only knows the difference between development and production.
